VMware, Inc. is a subsidiary of Dell Technologies.  The company provides cloud computing and platform virtualization software services. It is the first company to virtualize the x86 architecture commercially. It virtualizes computing, from the data center to the cloud to mobile devices, to help its customers be more profitable.  The company is headquartered in California and has branches all over the world. It operates with revenue worth 6 billion USD.

VMware Placement Test Process

The recruitment process of VMware has the following rounds:

• 1st: online MCQs
• 2nd: Coding
• 3rd: technical interview 1
• 4th: technical interview 2
• 5th: Managerial round and HR

The Online MCQ round is fully based on aptitude, still there are also chances where you can get some technical questions. The coding round will have some programming questions which you can solve with flying colours if you have some basic knowledge about C programming.

There are totally two technical interviews (face-to-face and programming). The type of questions asked in this interview will be discussed in the next section “Tips by Experts”.
